CECI Beach Ball was a big success!

The Children's Education Center of the Islands (CECI)  held its 7th annual Beach Ball fundraiser at The Sanctuary Golf Club on November 17th . This event has raised funds for scholarships at the school for children whose families are in financial need. Without scholarships many island families would be in a desperate situation to find quality care for their children. For the last decade, CECI, a true not-for-profit community preschool has raised over $200,000 in scholarships monies. The island economy is dependent upon the service from those who work in varying capacities on Sanibel and Captiva. Families rely upon CECI's loving, learning environment and extended care. The center provides for children on a daily basis with preschool education starting at age two through VPK program (4 and 5 year olds).

The annual Trike-a-thon at CECI is this Friday, January 25!  This fun event teaches the children about bike safety as well as about giving and helping others.  All money collected by CECI families is donated to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
